howdy?! just came back from samar and tacloban. spent my last week there working and decided to extend for 2 more days to visit my relatives...My mom was in the province too so i decided to drop by our house in tacloban...
It was 9 years since the last time i visited my hometown. its good to see my realtives again and to experience the kind of lifestlye they have. Saturday night i stayed in our kubo in our farm...yes kubo sya coz wala pa kaming house don...nakaka aliw coz the place was so laid back...walang kuryente, and really simple living...i found peace...too bad i had to stay 1 night only coz i know my mom was worried about me coz im not used to that kind of lifestyle. But it was fun, totally new experience....wanted to do it again.
Sunday morning mom and I travelled 2 hrs from our farm to visit my titos, titas and lola...medyo panget lang yung travel coz it was rough road...saan kaya napupunta ang perang dapat pinapagawa sa road..hay gobyerno! anyways, nakarating na din kami sa dapat puntahan after 2 hrs...we arrived at my tita's house and was served seafood...kamusta naman ang sugpo at alimango...grabeeehhhh!!!! ang sarap...dami kong nakain no, buti walang rice :-)
afternoon we went to visit my lola -tita (sis of my lola) she's 86 y/o and she was so happy to see me...I hope my mom would grow old just like her, she's so pretty and mestiza pa din...mana sa akin :-p
Then we went to another tita's house, and syempre bumulaga na naman sa akin ang sugpo, alimango at inihaw na yellow fin...syempre lamon na naman ako...ang sarap!!!
But reality hits me, monday morning i have to go back to cebu and start working again. It was nice to spend time with my mom again, it was fun to see my tito's and tita's and see my 86 y/o lola...i wanna go back! It felt good to see them again!
