Back in town :-)

Im back in Manila and I am having a blast. I arrived Friday Dec. 14 9pm. It was so overwhelming to be back home. I finally felt the spirit of Christmas :-)
Saturday afternoon Bebot and I met at starbucks silver city and chatted for hours over a cup or two of coffee...

Monday I reported for work. Glad to be working again at head office. Though we’re not doing anything much coz everyone’s in vacation mode. Monday night is Sunlife’s Christmas party. It was a lot of fun, far better than the previous xmas parties that sunlife had. It was held at Shangrila Makati and the food was really great. Sarap sobra, then open bar for an hour, so we were just drinking and dancing the whole night. Too bad i didn't win any prize, hehe.

Bebot, eto na kwento ko about Don, hahaha. Tuesday around 5pm I was smoking together with my best buddies Rhea and May, that’s our ritual before we go home. While smoking, my cellphone rang and was surprised to see that it was “Don” calling. I answered the phone and he said he’s in the building and would want to see me…I knew he will be coming to manila but I wasn’t expecting that he would call. So I met up with him at starbucks enterprise and we had coffee but stayed in the building’s smoking area coz I have to smoke while drinking coffee…He doesn’t smoke, by the way. Anyways, we talked for a bit and the conversation was all about relationships. He asked why I broke up with my ex and what are my “standard” daw sa boyfriend…we’re talking about me so sabi ko sya naman for a change…hehe…My friend, May saw don and I smoking so she joined us for a bit…nahuli tuloy, ayaw ko pa naman pakita sa kanila not because he’s ugly, hindi naman, he’s very presentable but knowing May and Rhea, aasarin lang nila akong dalawa, haha. So May stayed for a bit and finished a cigarette stick…Don also asked me how I find Cebu, if I like it there na daw. Told him na I am already adjusted but my comfort zone is still here in Manila. The next day May asked me if I like Don…After the conversation we had, I felt that it’s too early to tell. I want to get to know him better. I told Don that one of the reasons I am still single is I don’t want to settle for less, meaning I don’t want to grabbed whoever is the next available man para lang masabing may boyfriend, I think that’s pathetic. Person who does that always ends up with the wrong person. I am mature now, and not also in a rush. But I would like to have that special someone in the future but I will make sure that that person is worth it.
Anyways, Don flew back to Cebu yesterday. Told him that I might stay here in Manila till 3rd week of January coz we have to attend some events here in the company, but that’s not sure yet. I might go back Cebu 2nd week then just fly back Manila again 3rd week, wow jet setter, haha! Enough of Don…the rest of the stories will happen in Cebu, update na lang kita Bebs ..hehe

It’s the end of my 1st week here in manila and my colleagues and I will have overnight stay in tagaytay. One of my officemates kasi, Angel is leaving for USA so kinda despedida party na din and the 3 most missed trainers are back in town daw (kami po yun, hehe).
Its Christmas! Daming gastos but it was all worth it naman. I am enjoying my stay here and Im thankful for all the blessings I received this 2007, praying for more blessings this coming 2008 J
