Back to Reality

2 more nights to go, then i'm back to reality. Meaning, I have to wake up at 5:45 in the morning 5 days a week, beat the heavy traffic and spend 9hrs of my day at the office. How i wish i could just stay home and eat, watch the games of my favorite football team, surf the net, go out with friends and do nothing. But reality is it ain't possible because i need my work in order for me to survive, i need moolah. Don't get me wrong, I am thankful I have a good job, but after 11 days of looong vacation, it hurts knowing that i will be spending 9 hrs of my day at the office working my ass off,,,again...grrr. Ganun ba talaga yun?!!! waaahhh...Anyways, i will just be looking forward to more exciting events that will happen the coming days. I will let you know if there's any. :-)

Love Actually

Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often, it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know, none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaking suspicion... love actually is all around.
