Football fever this July '09

Finally, the long wait is over. Im going to see my fave football team (manU) play live in KL...yahoo!!!
What's even more exciting is my 2nd fave football team (liverpool) is also playing in Singapore...yahoo!!!
Gie and i are almost done with our travel plans. We got na plane tickets (Mnl-KL July 17-22, Sing-Mnl July 22-27). Gie already bought liverpool ticket last week. Tomorrow i will buy the ManU tix since public sale will start June 1....
We're still shopping online for the affordable yet clean hotels in KL and Sing...
I can't wait to go to KL and Sing. And what's fun is im spending it with my travel, football addict buddy georgie...im soooo excited.
ManU and Liverpool, here we come :-)

Love Actually

Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often, it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know, none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaking suspicion... love actually is all around.
